Janet M. Meyer

Janet M. Meyer, 54, of Ottawa Lake, MI, died Tuesday, September 26, 2017.  Born August 4, 1963, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Lawrence F. and Imogene (Carrier) Keeler.  A 1981 graduate of Bedford High School, she married Gerald “Max” Meyer on January 18, 2014.   Her and her husband owned and operated Precious In Home Care and Precious Hearing of Monroe, Temperance and Adrian. Janet was a member of the Maumee Valley Porsche Club and the Sylvania Moose Lodge 1579.  She enjoyed arts and crafts, horses, rabbits, traveling the world, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her loving husband, Max; sons, Rob (Lauren) Johnson, Jr., and Josh Johnson; step-daughter, Ashley Michael; parents, Lawrence and Imogene Keeler; brother, Lawrence (Rhonda) Keeler, Jr., sisters, Theresa (Mark) Willinger, Kimberly (Leroy) LaPlante and Roshanda Burtscher; grandchildren, Claire, Nolan and Hailey Johnson and Levi Dupree.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Sunday, October 1, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.  Funeral services  will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 2, 2017, at Bedford Alliance Church, 8645 Jackman Rd, Temperance, MI 48182, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
